This will be our 20th Summer Gathering and truly unique in its own right as it will be entirely run and organized by a voluntary organization called Heartbeat, made up of volunteers from previous Gatherings. As you can see from quotes of previous volunteers, this is a most definitely a great place to come and have fun!

If free camping in a 2000-acre estate surrounded by beautiful natural woodlands, kept ground, a manor house (complete with its own lake, stone circle and labyrinth) sounds appealing ... how about three good meals a day, access to over 80 different workshops and our diverse music gigs around the site ... ALL FOR FREE !  (A normal day ticket costs £35 and a five day ticket costs £125.)

All we ask in return is that you become part of our community for up to 6 hours a day (possibly as a split shift). You could be working on the grounds team or in the kitchen, you could be in the information tent or working supervised with children. These are just a few examples; we have so many different areas that might have room for volunteers. However we only have space for 100 volunteers this year on a first come first served basis. No set skills are required so long as you come with an open mind and a willingness to help and learn. If you feel you have skills to offer than this would be very much appreciated :-).

We can offer two very different volunteering opportunities: -
 
We have a limited space for 15 volunteers for a two-week programme (between the 28th of July and the 11^th of August).  These volunteers will form a core part of the team over the Gathering. This group will work as part of our community before, during and after the event. We may also look to this group for team leaders over the Gathering. This is a great opportunity to gain a much broader and well-rounded view of this amazing and enchanting environment.

We also have space for 100 volunteers to work the 5-7 days over the gathering (from the 4^th to the 11^th of August). This is also a fun and relaxing way to mingle with the eclectic and deeply interesting people this unique event brings together.
